Emma Stone is an American actress and producer who has been in the entertainment industry since she was a child. Born on November 6, 1988 in Scottsdale, Arizona to Krista Jean Stone (née Yeager) and Jeffrey Charles "Jeff" Stone, a contracting company founder and CEO, Stone began acting as a member of the Valley Youth Theatre in Phoenix. Her first TV role came when she won the part of Laurie Partridge in the VH1 talent/reality show In Search of the New Partridge Family.
Since then, Stone has gone on to star in numerous films such as Superbad (2007), The House Bunny (2008), Zombieland (2009), Easy A (2010), The Help (2011), Crazy Stupid Love (2011), The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) and La La Land (2016). She has also received several awards for her performances including an Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in La La Land.
